Citrus Fruits
Of the family of the Rutaceae, of the genus Citrus, the citrus fruits are called hesperidios, which consist of flavedo or exocarp, which is the outer part of the fruit, with a multitude of vesicles with essential oils, mesocarp or albedo, it is whitish colored and padded and the endocarp, where is the fleshy part of the fruit, which is composed of swollen carpels, trichomes that are filled with juice, the seeds are on the inside.
The fruits can curdle without the need for pollination by parthenocarpy, cross-pollination gives rise to an increase in the number of flowers per tree that turn, but it has its downside the emergence of seeds.
